Emergency Lighting
There are times when perhaps Fire, smoke or an incident can compromise visibility and exit routes or signs may be difficult to read in the case of an emergency evacuation.
Emergency lighting is used in dangerous situations and to facilitate a bright and illuminated exit route. It is essential to have regular maintenance checks and assessments on your emergency lighting as both back up batteries and bulbs will (at times) need replacing. Regular checks and routine changing of batteries before depletion ensures that in any emergency, the system will be fully operational.
Keeping personnel safe through adversity and with provision for an emergency evacuation or exit is an important responsibility. Without emergency lighting, there would be an improved risk of personal injury or even death in the worst-case scenario.
Keep exits and signs visible in case of an emergency.
